As a student of Content Creator Academy, you are obligated to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards in your jurisdiction and internationally.

  • Comply with platform-specific terms of service (YouTube, Instagram, etc.)
  • Follow advertising disclosure requirements and FTC guidelines
  • Respect privacy laws and data protection regulations

2. Professional Conduct

  • Maintain ethical standards in content creation and business practices
  • Avoid deceptive or misleading promotional practices
  • Respect community guidelines of social media platforms
  • Use course knowledge responsibly and ethically

Community Conduct Standards

You agree to maintain the highest standards of conduct when interacting with our educational community, instructors, and fellow students.

Maintain professional, respectful tone in all communications. Harassment, discrimination, or abusive language will result in immediate account suspension.

Academic Integrity

Submit original work, properly cite sources, and avoid plagiarism. Collaborative work must be clearly identified as such.

Protect personal information shared by community members. Do not screenshot, share, or republish private conversations or content.

Indemnification Obligations

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Content Creator Academy, its instructors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

Legal Framework and Dispute Resolution

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

16. Applicable Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Sri Lankan law takes precedence over any conflicting international agreements.

17. Jurisdiction and Venue

Any legal action or proceeding arising under these terms shall be brought exclusively in the competent courts of Colombo, Sri Lanka. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts and waive any objection to venue or forum non conveniens.

Dispute Resolution Procedures

Initial Communication

Before initiating formal proceedings, parties must attempt good-faith resolution through direct communication. Contact our support team with detailed description of the dispute and proposed resolution within 30 days of the incident.

Mediation Process

If direct communication fails, disputes may be submitted to binding mediation through the Arbitration Institute of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce. Both parties shall share mediation costs equally unless otherwise determined by the mediator.

Limitation Period

Any claim or cause of action arising from these terms must be filed within one (1) year after the claim arose, or it will be permanently barred. This limitation applies regardless of the dispute resolution method chosen.

Severability and Modification

21. Severability Clause

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable.

22. Terms Modification Policy

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated 30 days in advance. Continued use of our services after modifications take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Entire Agreement and Integration

These Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and any enrollment agreements, constitute the entire agreement between you and Content Creator Academy regarding the use of our educational services.

23. Superseding Effect

This agreement supersedes all prior negotiations, representations, or agreements relating to the subject matter herein, whether written or oral. No amendment or modification shall be valid unless in writing and signed by authorized representatives of both parties.
